Welcome! My name is Marcus Hill and I am from Durham, North Carolina. Currently, I am a student at Emory University majoring in Computer Science. The past school year I took a gap year where I learned from the Code The Dream program to gain technical and professional skills as a software developer! I have a lot of curiosity when it comes to software development so I began my journey within the Code The Dream bootcamp where I learned HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. At the moment I am practicing the React.js framework and learning the foundations of computer science through Java to grow my knowledge as a software engineer. Outside of instruction, I continue to improve my developing skills with personal projects and professional roles defined below. This portfolio will highlight my journey through programming by addressing experience, skills and more.
